Deputy Hearn received a call in reference to a child not breathing and turning blue. Deputy Hearn was minutes away from the scene. Upon arrival Deputy Hearn began CPR on a 14 day old infant. He performed CPR for several minutes until EMS arrived. The child was breathing on her own and was transported to the hospital. Due to Deputy Hearn's immediate reaction to the situation the child was given another chance at a long life. The child has since been released from the hospital and is doing fine. All of this was recorded on Deputy Hearn's Body Worn Axon Camera.

Anytime a life is saved it brings to light the exemplary actions of not just Law Enforcement but outstanding citizens. Deputy Hearn showed an immediate reaction to this childs needs and saved this childs life.
